SURFrx, enhances existing cleaning protocols by integrating state-of-the-art UV-C technology for both surface and air in sterile compounding areas to meet the changing regulatory requirements of USP 797 and 800. The Surfacide Helios UV system for surface disinfection is incorporated as the final stage of manual cleaning and delivers a dose that will achieve microbial reduction on all surfaces within the direct line of site and appropriate distance.  In concert, the program incorporates an upper-air UV-C air disinfection system, installed in the ceiling of the ante room, that results in a continual 24/7 cycle of air passing through a UV-C chamber.
